The beginning

We got really lucky. Our appartment is one of the best of the bunch, definitely the biggest I've seen. It's basically just four rooms a kitchen and a bathroom, but three of us get our own balconies and our kitchen is really nice. I hope we keep it that way. The part of town that we live in is really great too. We're ten minutes away from the Rue Lamarck (Jess, Lauren, and Nicole) appartment and fifteen minutes away from Rue Paul Albert appartment (Erin and Beachy). Evan and Filipe live a block away from us but we never see them. There are several grocery stores around, a cafe downstairs, a bakery, pharmacy, and sandwich shop across the street, and a cemetary and a fire station nearby. Everything in Paris is less than an hour away on the metro, school is 30 minutes away. We have a very nice appartment.
